This will quickly get its attention back on you and get it moving.
Use your bow: If the Colossus won't follow you or seems to be ignoring you, shoot it with an arrow. Anytime there is a flat surface or the Colossus stops moving, stand up and let your strength recover. To prevent this, take a moment to recover when you can. If the circle completely drains, you'll lose your grip and the Colossus will easily shake you off. Notice that it will slowly drain if you hold on to something for a long time. Watch your grip: That circle in the lower right corner near your red life bar represents your strength. If a Colossus is really kicking your ass, hide out for a while to heal up before taking it on again. Wait and recover: If you just stand around, your life will slowly regenerate. Oftentimes, there won't be a region close to the ground that you can grab on to, so you'll have to solve the puzzle and figure a way to make the Colossus lower that area to the ground so that you can hop on for a ride. You can only get a firm grasp on sharp edges or the hairy regions of the Colossus, so use these to climb up. Getting close to the weak point on a Colossus is sometimes a difficult task. These are the only places that you'll be able to do significant damage and they must be attacked with the sword. The weak point will glow blue when you bring the sword near to it or reflect light on it. Your magical sword will tell you the location of these weak points if you hold it up in the light near a Colossus, the same as when you were tracking them. To take down the spirit of a Colossus, you have to find its weak point. If all else fails, take a look at our Map Page for detailed help on finding your prey. Look for passes through mountain chains and bridges that cross dangerous precipices when you find your path has been blocked. Cliffs, mountains, and other natural formations will prevent you from going in a straight line most of the time. It is a good idea to do this from time to time as you go. If you're in a cloudy area, then you're on your own. 
This is the direction you want to go in to find the Colossus. Move the cursor that appears around until all of the reflecting beams focus into one stream of light. To start, hold your sword up in the air by pressing the Circle Button. Luckily for you, you have a magical sword that will reveal their location for you. When galloping, simultaneously press down on the left analog stick and the X button.Ī Colossus won't just step out and let you attack it. Aggro will stop and turn around to run the other way. When galloping, simultaneously, and quickly, press down on the left analog stick and the X button twice. Hold down R1 and X, then push the left analog stick where you want to lean. Here are some tricks you can perform while riding your horse, Aggro. You can also leap backwards or to the side by holding the analog stick in that direction as you charge up your jump. If you hold down the Triangle Button you can charge up your jump allowing you to leap more than one ledge at a time. You can also tap the Triangle Button to hop up to the top of the ledge or to reach the next small ledge. From there, you can press up or down on the analog stick to climb. To do it, hold down the R1 Button to grab hold of a surface.
Climbing is something you'll have to do quite often.
